Klub Koast’s resident DJ, Richard Garbz, has been a huge dance music fan since the day he could walk. Born in Edinburgh, he moved to Middlesbrough at the age of 6 months and then to Morpeth, Northumberland at 3 and a half and has lived there ever since. His first experience of DJ-ing came in a school hall for a school party when he was 10 years old……..using cassettes and one cassette player was never ever going to be a success however that didn’t dampen Richard’s ambitions of becoming a DJ which eventually happened 13 years later.

For the last 5 years he has been DJ-ing in clubs and bars all over the North East filling dance floors with the all the best dance tunes from the nineties, noughties and now.

Klub Koast can be heard only on Koast Radio every Saturday night from 6pm til 8pm.
