Koast Radio is delighted to have been awarded £4,000 in funding from Northumberland County Council’s Community Chest Fund. The money will be used to reconfigure our existing studio to make the best possible use of the space available to us so that we can create a bespoke training and production suite as well as deliver a robust broadcast schedule of high quality varied radio output. Blyth AFC has announced the official signing of FA Vase goal scoring record breaker Andrew ‘Bully’ Bulford to the new season’s squad. The Koast Radio Team with the support of local businesses in Newbiggin hosted a Summer Event in the heart of Newbiggin. On show were some fantastic classic scooters from local scooter clubs, music from local musicians and of course music from the Koast Team. Koast Radio were called into support the Manor Walks Branch of local travel company Hays Travel. Hays Travel were raising funds for their chosen charity for sufferers of Motor Neurone Disease.
