Board Director Koast Radio
Koast Radio is looking to strengthen its Board of Directors and has recently agreed to increase the number of Directors from four to six as part of this process.
Koast Radio has been broadcasting for over 6 years.
Koast Radio commenced its broadcasting initially as an internet based radio station.
In December 2015 following the award of a 5 year FM licence from Ofcom Koast Radio has been broadcasting on 106.6GHz on the FM waveband.
The Board requires a range of talents, knowledge, skills and experience and wants to include people with the full range of expertise required to develop and run an outstanding community radio station.

A Board Skills Audit has helped us to identify the skills we require and we are seeking to recruit two new Board Directors who possess skills in one or more of the following areas:
- Voluntary sector / charity management / governance.
- Financial management, accounting and budgeting.
- Fundraising and income generation.
- Legal matters including company law, contracts and broadcast regulation.
- Public relations, marketing and promotion.
- Radio broadcasting, programming and regulation.
Other essential skills required include:
- Team working
- Business acumen
- Communication – written and verbal
- Problem solving
