Come along and join in the fun at the first session of the newly founded playgroup Bright Beginnings In Northumberland Open Day at the Briardale Community Centre, Briardale Road, Cowpen, Blyth on Saturday 15th June 2013 11am until 3pm.

There will be plenty of activities for everyone including face painting, pony rides, raffles, tombola and childrens tombola, bouncy castle, refreshments, hot dogs and more.

Koast Radio will be hosting the day along with Mr Malcolm McDonald (Super Mac) who will be signing photos. The local press will also be attending so you never know; you could even be in the papers. It really will be a fantastic day, not to be missed…. so get yourselves along for a Fab Fun Filled Day.

Bright Beginnings In Northumberland are a brand new parent and toddler group for preschool and special needs children aged 0-5 years; headed up by Dawn Tyler Hood, Yvonne Robson, Amanda Hawkes and Helen Haggerty.

The sessions will commence on Monday 17th June 2013 and will run from 10.30am till 12.30pm at The Briardale Community Centre in Blyth. Bright Beginnings In Northumberland will also be holding a session every Friday from 12.30pm till 2.30pm.

Entertainment on the Saturday evening will see The Koast Radio Roadshow at Bedlington Terriers football ground. Topping the bill will be new girl band Angels In Chaos along with local singer Chloe Fennell. Supporting acts include The Heavy Jets and others.

Saturday evening at the Market Place Club will see top show group The Nikki Summers Band supported by superb female duo Hot Flush. Tickets £5.00. All profits from the evening will be donated to Meadow Park Care Home residents fund.

Sunday the fun begins at 2pm. Venues in Bedlington will swing open their doors for 10 hours of live music. From solo acts to bands it’s sure to be a brilliant day. All venues this year will be collecting for their own chosen charities.

This year the whole event will be filmed by WooGoo productions with all money made from DVD sales going to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
